A RESOLUTION TO DESIGNATE ~JN~ NO. 341
AS THE FUNDING SOURCE FOR THE ROYAL COVE
SEWER SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENTS PROJEC'r
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, as the
Governing Body of Collier County and as Ex-Officio the Governing
Board of the Collier County Water-Sewer District (hereafter
referred to as "Board") on October 10, 1995, approved the
creation of the Royal Cove Sewer Special Assessment District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners on october 24,
1995, accepted the preliminary plans, specifications and estimate
of costs for the Royal Cove Sewer Special Assessment District;
and
WHEREAS, on NovemJ)e~' 14, 1995 the Board approved the time,
date and place for the Public Hearing which was held on November
28, 1995. At this public hearing the Board approved the
tentative assessment costs for the Royal Cove Sewer Special

Assessment District; and
WHEREAS, on December 19, 1995, the Board of County
Commissioners approved emergency project funding utilizing the
Water-Sewer District capital funds. Board also approved on said
date an alternate method of collection that would be administered
by the Collier County Department of Revenue, and
WHEREAS, the special sewer assessment levied on the
properties within Royal Cove Unit 2 shall be repaid over a period
of 20 years; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has previously
accumulated a fund balance in Fund No. 341, Special Assessment
Fund, and
WHEREAS, Fund No. 341 is an appropriate source of funding
for this special assessment project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS THE GOVERNING BODY
OF COLLIER COUNTY AND AS EX-OFFICIO THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
COLLIER COUNTY WATER-SEWER DISTRIC'r, that,

1) The Collier County Water-Sewer District seeks a
long term funding source for the Royal Cove Sewer
special Assessment District project.
2) The accumulated fund balance in Fund No. 341 is
the appropriate funding source for the Royal Cove
Sewer Special Assessment project.
3) The Board hereby confirms the use of Fund No. 341
as the long term funding source for the Royal Cove
Sewer Special Assessment District project.
4) Fund No, 341 shall be reimbursed with appropriate
interest through the levy and collection of the
special sewer assessments within Royal Cove Unit 2.
5) The collection of the special assessments within
the Royal COVl! Sewer Special Assessment District
shall be administered by the Collier County
Department of Revenue.
