RESOLUTION NO, 9a.A53
A RESOLUTION Of THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDIllANCE 91-47,
n1{EREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct co~ts of
abatement of c~rtain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the Cou~ty. shall be assessed against such property;
and
~H=RE~S, :!l~ ~0SI: tJl~:.CO~ to the County as to e~\ch pArcel shall be
calcula.t.ed and reported to ..hE: Board of County Ccmr:.i5sioners, together
with a descrip:icn of said parcel; and
'dHEREAS. such assessment shall be a legal, va:id and binding
obligation upon the property against ~hich made un~il paid; and
i<JHEREAS, the assessrnent. shall become due and payable thirty nO)
days after th~ mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accru~ at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\1 per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follows, and having be~n abated of a public nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

records of Collier County, to constitute a lien ag"iinst su"h property
according to law, unless such direction is stayed by this Uoard upon
appeal of the assessment of the owner.
