RESOLUTION NO. 98_452
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COf<llHSS lONERS
PROVIDItlG FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 31-47.
WHEREAS, as provid~d ir. Ordinanc~ 9~-47, the direct costs of
abatement of c~rtain nui5an~e6, including prescrib~d administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, ~he cost thereaf to the County as to ~ach parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of Count.y COln":"li:3sioners, together
wi:~ a descrip~:c~ of said parc~l; and
WHEREAS, s~ch assess~ent shall be a legal, ~~lid and binding
obligation upon the property against whi~h made un~il paid; and
WHEREhS, th~ assessment shall become due and pAyable thirty (30)
days after th~ ~~iling o! Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rat~ of t~el~e percent (12.0\) per annum on any
unpaid portion ~h~r~of.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and
proper notic~ thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

records of Collier- County, to constitut.e a lien agai:1St suc'1 property
according to law, unless such direction is stayed by this Board upon
appeal of the ass~ssment of th~ owner.
