RESOLUTION NO, 98-_liD.
RESOLUTION AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY RESOLUTION 95-353 AND
THE PURCHASING POLICY REFERENCED THEREBY
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance 87 -25 provides for tile establisilment
of a purcilasing policy to govern illl ilspects of purcilasing adrninistratioll: <Inri
WHEREAS. Tile Board of County Commissioners on June G. 1995
arjopted a pLlrcililsin~J policy by Resolution 0'i-353 alld subsequently amended
said resolution on November 18, 1997 via Resolution 97 -435 : and
WHEREAS. bolil tile Citizen's Productivity Committee and County staff,
seeking to obtain maximum villue for tile tax dollar, have recommended
implementing a formal system for tracking, evaluatin~] and considering tile past
performance of contractors, vendors and other entities providing commoditi[)s
"mj'or services to tile County, and
WHEREAS, Collier County ilas previously entered into agreement wilil tile
State Department of Community Affairs to participate in tilat agency's Small
Cities Community Development Block Grant Economic Development program
and desires to comply with tile Grantor's program requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA tilat:
Resolution 95-353 is hereby amended by this Resolution as attaclled
ilereto and incorporated herein by reference.
