A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
SETTING FORTH ITS INTENT TO USE THE UNIFORM
METHOD OF COLLECTING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
FOR COLLECTION OF NON-AD VALOREM
ASSESSMENTS FOR ROADSIDE IMPROVEMENTS
WITHIN THE EUCLID AND LAKELAND AVENUES
ROADSIDE IMPROVEMENTS MUNICIPAL SERVICE
BENEFIT UNIT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, established the Euclid and Lakeland Avenues
Roadside Improvements Municipal Service Benefit Unit for the
purpose
of constructing
including
roadside improvements
drainage improvements and bicycle paths, (hereinafter referred
to as COUNTY); and
WHEREAS, COUNTY intends to finance thie project through
the levy of a special assessment against those properties
benefited by the project.
The properties. being benefited
within the Euclid and Lakeland Avenues Roadside Improvements
Municipal Service Benefit Unit are described below; and
WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida statutes, provides a
uniform method of collecting such assessments and said Section
requires that the COUNTY adopt a resolution at a public hearing
prior to January 1 stating its intent to Use the uniform method
of COllecting such assessments; and
WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, also rsquires
that the COUNTY publish notice of its intent to use the uniform
method for collecting such assessments weekly in a newspaper of
general
circulation within each county contained in the
boundaries of the COUNTY for four consecutive weeks prior to
the hearing; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has published the required notices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:

All of section 24, Township 48 South, Range 25 East,
Collier County, Florida, less the following four described
areas of said Section 24:

4. The North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest

shall be collected utilizing the uniform method for cOllecting
such assessments as provided in section 197.3632, Florida
statutes.
2. A copy of this Resolution shall be mailed by United
States mail to the Collier County Property Appraiser, the
Collier
County Tax Collector, and the state of Florida
Department of Revenue by January 10, 1992.
3. It is determined that the special assessments within
Euclid and Lakeland Avenues Roadside Improvements Municipal
Service Benefit Unit shall be collected over a period of years.
