RESOLUTION NO. 96-339
RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING
MEMBERS TO TIlE COLLIER COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 94-26 on May 10,
1994, establishing the Collier county Council of Economic Advisors to provide assistance, advice,
reports and recommendation, to the Board of County Commissioners regarding efficient and
effective method, that the Board of County Commissioners can use to increase economic
opportunities and increase and diversifY the economic base in Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-14, amended Ordinance No. 94-26, as amended, by
increasing the number of voting members from 12 to 18 and removing the non-voting alternale
category; and
WHEREAS, there are currently three (3) vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
I. Tom Walsh, is bereby reappointed to tbe Collier County Counsel of Economic Advisors
for a four year term, said term to expire August 2, 12000.
2. Michael Simonik is hereby appointed to the Collier County Counsel of Economic Advisors
for a four year term, said term to expire on August 2, 2000.
3. William Spinelli is hereby appointed to the Collier County Counsel of Economic Advisors
for a four year term, said term to expire on August 2, 2000.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
