WItEREAS, tile Board of Counly Commissioners, oll October 28, 1997, adopted Ordinance
No. 97-55 therein establishing the 1997 (Seventh Annual) Capital Improvement Element or' the
Growlh Management Plan in order to establish priorities for the design. acquisition and construction
of the various capital improvement projects The 'Fransponation EIc'mcnt of tile ('ounty's
Comprehensive Plan was adopted in Ordinance No 97-62; arid
WItEREAS, the four-laning improvements to Golden (]ate Boulevard Road between ('. R.
951 and Wilson Boulevard is one of the capital improvement projects required under time
Transportation Elcmcnt of the County's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on April 28, 1998, adopted Resolution No.
98-107 authorizing the County Staff to acquire by gift or purchase certain easements and/or fee simple
title to the property and property interests required and necessary for tile Golden Gate Boulevard £our-
laning roadway improvements of Golden Gate Boulevard between C. R. 951 and Wilson Boulevard;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on April 27, 1999. adopted three (3)
Resolutions for Parcels 101A-II2T. 114A-IIST. 117-121T (Resolution No, 99-222), 122A-123.
124T-125T. 130A-133, 137-140. 142A-148T (Resolution No. 99-220), and 149-153'1', 155-155T.
157-157T, 1581, 159-162T, 164, 166, 168-169, & 188, 216 and 320 (Resolution No. 99-221).
authorizing the County staff to acquire by gift, purchase or condemnation certain easements and/or fee
simple title to tile properly and property interests required and necessary tbr the Golden Gate
Boulevard four-laning roadway improvements of Golden Gate Boulevard between C. R. 951 and
Wilson Boulevard: and
WIIEREAS, the parcels described in this Resolution include Parcels 251-258, 261A-263, and
265A-271; and
WIIEREAS, tile location for construction of tile proposed improvements has been fixed by
survey and is collectively represented by the legal descriptions comprising Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein; and
