;, RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDA~KE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the di~ect costs of
abatement of certain llUisanc€s, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such propert)':

WHEREAS I the cost thereof to the County as to c.J.ch parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board oC County Commi9sioners, togetller
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid: and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due a;1.d payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\l per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property describ(~d
a8 follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due ;}l1d
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby asse:3sed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

records of Collier County, to constitute a lien ag~i~st such proper:y
accordir:g to law, unless such direction is stayed by this Board UpOl1
appeal of the assessment of the owner.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION;
Lots 6, Block 0, South Tamiami Heights as recorded and
platted in plat Book 3, Page 44, Public records of
Collier County, Florida.
You, as the owner of the property above described, a8
recorded in the records maintained by the office of the
Property Appraiser, are 11ereby advised that the Compliance
Services Manager, did on 2/9/96, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prchibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereof upon you, such
nuisance being:
Prohibited dumping, accumulation, storage or burial of
litter, waste or abandonod property. Accumulation of
prohibited exotics on unimproved land locatod within
200' of improved, subdivided property.
Brazilian pepper hedges
You failed to abate such nuisance; whereupon, it was abated
by the expe~diture of public funds at a direct cost of
$800.00 and administrative cost of $200.00 for a tc)tal of
$1000.00. Such costs, by Resolution of the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, have been assessed
against the above property on July 23, 1996
and shall
become a lien on the pr"operty thirty (30) days after such
assessment.
You may request a hearing before the Board of County
CommiS8ioners to show cause, if any, why the expen:3es and
charges inctJrred by the County under this Ordinan(:I~ are
unwarranted or excessive or why such expenses should not
constitute a lien against the property. Such request for
hearing must be made to the Clerk of the Board of County
Commissioners, GO'Jernment Center, Naples, Florida 33962 in
writing within thirty (30) days from the date of this
assessment to be valid.
