Executive Summary
Recommendation to reappoint Gregory Pollock to the Forest Lakes Roadway & Drainage Advisory Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint Gregory Pollock to the Forest Lakes Roadway & Drainage Advisory Committee to a four-
year term expiring on April 21, 2030.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five member committee was created on March 10, 1992, by Ordinance No. 92-16 to assist
the Board of County Commissioners in tasks related to providing and maintaining improved roadways, lighting, traffic
signs, sidewalks, beautification, and roadway related drainage within the area of the Forest Lakes Roadway & Drainage
MSTU established by Ordinance No. 91-107, as amended. The committee also prepares and recommends an itemized
budget, work programs, and priorities. Members must reside within the MSTU. Terms are four years. A list of the
current membership is included in the backup.
There are two vacancies on this advisory board. The vacancies were advertised, and the following application was
received:

to his seat on the committee, to a four-year term expiring on April 21, 2030. A recommendation memo is included in the
backup.

GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote for Board

RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - ____
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING GREGORY
POLLOCK TO THE FOREST LAKES ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-16 established the Forest Lakes Roadway
and Drainage Advisory Committee to aid and assist the Board of County Commissioners in
carrying out the purposes of the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage Municipal Service Taxing
Unit (MSTU); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 92-16 provides that this Advisory Committee shall be
composed of five members who generally represent the area within the MSTU; and
WHEREAS, there are two vacant seats on this committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage Advisory Committee has provided
the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that GREGORY POLLOCK, as a
resident within the MSTU, is hereby reappointed to the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage
Advisory Committee to a four-year term expiring on April 21, 2030.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 28th day of April 2026.
