A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, ACTING AS THE COLLIER COUNTY
AIRPORT AUTHORITY, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF THE ATTACHED AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION GRANT AGREEMENT
450316-1-94-01, CONTRACT NO. G3680, WITH THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the Collier County Airport Authority has the authority to enter into the attached
agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation to undertake projects as authorized by Chapter
332,Florida Statutes, and Section 14-60 of the Florida Administrative Code, and Ordinance 2004-03.
WHEREAS, on February 11, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved a
Public Transportation Grant Agreement (the "Agreement") with the State of Florida Department of
Transportation(FDOT), executed on June 21,2023,wherein FDOT will reimburse Collier County up to
$267,903 for a 5,000 gallon Jet A Refueler Truck at the Marco Island Executive Airport (MKY) (FPN
450316-1-94-01); and
WHEREAS, FDOT is willing to amend the Agreement to allow an additional six(6)months of
time on the Agreement, changing the expiration date from June 30, 2026,to December 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS,the Board finds that the Agreement is in the public interest and benefits the citizens
of Collier County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,that:
1. The Board approves and authorizes its Chairman to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement
(FPN 450316-1-94-01, Contract No. G3680).
2. The Collier County Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution along with the
Amendment No. 1 for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
ADOPTED this I40,day of f ipr;( 2026 after motion, second and majority vote in favor
of adoption.
