members. Should a hearing be held on this item, all participants are required to
be sworn in. Recommendation to approve an amendment to the Collier County
Growth Management Plan for the unincorporated area of Collier County,
Florida, specifically amending the Rural Golden Gate Estates Sub-Element of
the Golden Gate Area Master Plan Element and Golden Gate Future Land Use
Map and Map Series to change the designation of the property from Estates-
Mixed Use District, Residential Estates Subdistrict to Estates-Mixed Use
District, Orangetree Bible Subdistrict to allow a conditional use for a church up
to 12,000 square feet. The subject property consists of 4.20± acres and is
located at the northwest corner of Shady Hollow Boulevard East and
Immokalee Road in Section 10, Township 48 South, Range 27 East, Collier
County, Florida; furthermore, directing transmittal of the adopted amendment
to the Florida Department of Commerce; providing for severability and

Dear Commissioner Hall,
On behalf of the project team for the Orangetree Bible Church, I am requesting a brief in-person
meeting to discuss our upcoming items on the January 27th Board of County Commissioners
agenda (PL20240013798 & PL20240012938).
We understand the unique character of the Estates and the importance of compatible
development. Since our initial submittal, we have been working closely with the local community
to hear their concerns. We would value the opportunity to walk you through:
Community-Driven Design: Specific site plan modifications we’ve made to address
neighbor feedback regarding traffic, buffering, and scale.
Filling a Community Gap: The essential services this project will provide to a rapidly
growing and underserved portion of the Estates area.
Proactive Mitigation: How our team is addressing the technical requirements of the GMPA
and Conditional Use petitions to ensure a seamless fit for the neighborhood.
We want to ensure that you have the full context of these improvements well before the public
hearing. We are happy to meet at your office or any location convenient for you during the first
two weeks of January.
