WHEREAS, in accoldanc:e with Collier County Ordinance No. 93-19, the County i.1IIlborized to
uac flmding from the State Houaing Initiativca Partnership [SHIP] Program for waivm of Collier County

WHEREAS,lmmokalee Habilll for Humanity, Inc. is seclcing . waiver of impact feca; lIIId
WHEREAS, Immokalee Habilll for Humanity, Inc. will conatruct OIIC (1) thrce-bechuOu, unit (the
"Dwelling Unit") on Lot 8, Bullard Subdivision, Immokalec which is proposed to sell for Forty-Six
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($46,500.00); and
WHEREAS, the Dwelling Unit will be purchased by a very low income bouacbold which it
required to invest s minimum of five hundred (500) hours of "Sweat Equity" before it obtaina title to the
house; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Charlca C. Smith, Vice Prcaident of Immokalee Habilll for Humauity, IDe.,
submittccl to the Office of Housing and Urban Improvement an Affordable Housing Application dated
December 2, 1996 for . waiver of impact feca for the construction of. boUle on Lot g, Bullard Subdivlalon,
1mmoka1ce, . copy of said application is on file in the Housing and Urban Improvement Department; lIIId

Ordinance, Ordinance No. 92-33, aa amended; an applicant may obtain a waiver of impact feca by
qualifying for a waiver; and
WHEREAS, Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. haa qualified for an impact fee waiver bucd
upon the following representations made by Immokalee Habitat for Humanity,lnc.:
A. The Dwellin8 Unit shall be sold to a first-lime home buyer.
B. The Dwelling Unit shall be sold to a household with a very low income level as that term i.
defined in the Appendices to the reapective Impact Fee Ordinances and the monthly pl)'lDCllt
to purchase the unit mUll be within the affordable housing guidelines established in the
Appendices to the ~ive Impact Fee Ordinanc:ea.
The Dwelling Unit shall be the Homestead of the owner.
The Dwelling Unit shall remain affordable for fifteen (15) yean from the dale the ccrtificalc
of occupancy is issued.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
t. The Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the County Manager to iuuc an
Authorization for waiver of impact feca to Immokalec Habilll for Humanity, Inc. for one (I)
house which shall be constructed on Lot 8, Bullard Subdivision, Immokalec, Collier County,
Florida.
Upon receipt by the Housing and Urban Improvement Director of an agreement for waiver
of impact feca signed by Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc., and/or the purchaser, or
other documentation scceptable to the County Attorney, the Board of County
Commissioners hereby authorizes the payment by Collier County of the following iIIIpllCt
feca from the Affordlble Housing Trust Fund, Fund (191), in the following amoanta for the
one (I) bouse to be built on Lot 8, Bullard Subdivision, Immokalee by Immokalee Habilll
for Humanity, Inc.:
A. Library Impact Fee
B. Road Impact Fee
C. Parks and Recreational Facilitics
Impact Fee:

(2) Regional Parks
