Executive Summary
Recommendation to accept a grant donation from the William and Naydine Hanna Fund through the Fidelity Charitable
Donor-Advised Fund grant program in the amount of $250.00, for general support of the Collier County Library. (Public
Services Grant Fund 1839)
OBJECTIVE: To accept a non-restricted grant donation to benefit the patrons of the Collier County Public Library.
This objective aligns with Collier County’s Strategic Objective to provide quality public amenities and recreational
opportunities through support for the Collier County Library.
CONSIDERATIONS: On October 7, 2025, the William and Naydine Hanna Fund contributed $250.00 towards the
Collier County Public Library through the Fidelity Charitable Grant Program for the recommended purpose of “where
it’s needed most”. This purpose does not constitute a restriction, and the Library has chosen to apply this to the general
support of Library operations.
The Fidelity Charitable Grant program is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting philanthropy, building
endowments, and other charitable funds, and connecting community resources. The funds will be used to enhance the
quality of library services and programs for residents and visitors of the Collier County Public Library System.
This item is consistent with the Collier County strategic plan objective to provide quality public amenities and
recreational opportunities for the public.
FISCAL IMPACT: A Budget Amendment is required to appropriate the donations in the amount of $250.00 within the
Public Services Grant Fund (1839) Project 33609. There is no requirement for a county match.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and requires a majority vote for
Board Approval. -JAK
