Approved LDC Amendments
On November 10, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) adopted
four ordinances amending the Land Development Code (LDC) related to:
1. Ordinance 2025-55Update the Rural Land Stewardship Area Zoning Overlay District(RLSA) Standards and Procedures.
Effective Date: November 13, 2025
2. Ordinance 2025-56Rename and establish the Immokalee Urban Area Overlay District(IUAOD) and following subdistricts: Main Street Overlay (MSOS),State Road 29A Overlay (SR29OS), Jefferson Ave. CommercialOverlay (JACOS), Agribusiness/Farm Market Overlay (AFOS),Industrial Mixed Use Commercial Overlay (IMCOS), andNonconforming Mobile Home Site Overlay Subdistrict.
Effective Date: November 13, 2025
3. Ordinance 2025-59Increase Floor Area Ratio (FAR) to 0.60 for Group Housing in PUDor Commercial Zoning Districts. Retain maximum 0.45 FAR for Mini-Triangle Mixed Use District, Agriculture Mixed Use District,Conservation Designation, North Belle Meade Overlay-Section 24Neutral Lands-Buckley Property, and Immokalee Rural VillageOverlay-Village Center.
Effective Date: November 13, 2025
4. Ordinance 2025-60Establish new standards, review, and appeal process/procedure forReasonable Accommodation Requests by Certified RecoveryResidencies.
Effective Date: November 17, 2025
