RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DEO!GNATING A rJTURE ROAD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT CONNECTING IMMOKALEE ROAD
(C.R. 846) AND OIL WELl. ROAD (C.R. 858) IN THE
VICINITY OF IMMOKALEE, DESIGNATING SPECIFIC
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE COUNTY, AND
DESIGNATING FUNDING SOURCES TO CARRY OUT THE
COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
has reviewed the alignment of a future important connector road
between Immokalee Road (C.R. 846) and oil Well Road (C.R. 858)1 and
WHEREAS, The Board of County commissionels finds that the road
improvement project as proposed and as outlined on Attachment 1
provides for important public collector road functions in the rural
area of eastern Collier County; and
WHEREAS, County staff has contacted r,~presentatives of the
various owners along the proposed road alignmont for the conversion

of an existing private road to a public road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT lUlSOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS
OF COLl.IER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
that the roadway
designated on Attachment 1 connecting Immokalee Road (C.R. 846)
with oil Well Road (C.R. 858) is, in fact, a needed future public
collector road to serve the Immokalee area and eastern collier
County, and that the following commitments by Collier County are
hereby designated:
1. The Board of County commissioners designates the th. road
improvement project as outlined on Attachment 1 as an important
County road project and directs its staff to work with the
applicable property owners to develop the roadway in accordance
with the Construction Schedule outlined on Attachment 2.
2.
Road improvement project activities are outlined on the
construction Schedule, Attachment .1 private land owners along
the roadway chall provide right-of-way and shall be responsible
for road improvements consistent with activity items' 1-8 and
111 Collier county shall be responsible for road improvements
consistent with activity items 9, 10, 12, and 131 project
implementation shall be in accordance with the construction
Schedule and notes therein.

3. Road improvements which are the responsibility of collier
county shall be funded from County Fund 313 and County Fund
101; the performance of county responsibilities and the
expenditure of County funds shall be in accordance with the
