RESOLUTION NO. 89-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CANCELLING THE
ACCRUAL OF AD VALOREM TAXES UPON A PORTION
OF LOTS 19, 20 AND 21, EAST NAPLES INDUSTRIAL
PARK.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on June 14, 1988
entered into a contract with Collier Development Corporation to
purchase the Development Services Building and a portion of Lots
19, 20 and 21, East Naples Industrial Park, which is located on
North Horseshoe Drive; and
WHEREAS, Section 196.295(1), Florida Sta';utes provides that
taxes on property acquired by a governmental unit are cancelled
as of the date the property is acquired; and
WHEREAS, the Closing on this property is scheduled for March
27, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BO~ OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, tha: the accrual of ad
valorem taxes on the property described as follows:
The North 335.0 feet of the following:
West 100 feet of Lot 21, all of Lot 20, and the East 160
feet of Lot 19, all within the East Naples Industrial Park
plat, as recorded in Plat Book 10, Pages 114 and 115 of the
Public Records of Collier County, Florida.
are cancelled as of March 27, 1989, or the date of closing.
