SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT No.21-7896

EMERGENCY/DISASTER RELATED STABILZATION AND RECOVERY SERVICES
FOR ROADWAY SIGNS
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT made and entered into on this \y�h � Co!)ej 2 OZ-1/4
(date), by and between Southern Signal& Lighting,Inc. (the "Contractor") and Collier County, a
political subdivision of the State of Florida, (the "County") (collectively,the"Parties"):
WHEREAS, on September 14, 2021 (Agenda Item No. 11.A), the County entered into
Agreement No. 21-7896 "Emergency/Disaster Related Stabilization and Recovery Services for
Roadway Sign"(the"Agreement")with the Contractor to provide on-call,as needed,repair to roadway
signs; and
WHEREAS,on May 1,2024 the County administratively approved a First Amendment to
the Agreement providing for an increase to the hourly rates under the Agreement,which was reviewed
by staff and deemed as fair and reasonable; and exercised the first one-year renewal option; and
WHEREAS,the Parties wish to further amend the Agreement to: 1)update Exhibit B,Fee
Schedule of the Agreement to reflect a 5% increase to hourly rates, and 2) exercise the second one-
year renewal option under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Parties agree to reinstate the Agreement and retroactively approve this
Second Amendment to September 14, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein
contained, it is agreed by the Parties as follows:
1. The above recitals are hereby incorporated into this Second Amendment as if fully set forth
herein.
2. Revised Exhibit B, Fee Schedule, attached hereto and incorporated by reference, shall take
effect upon the start of the next renewal term on September 14, 2025.
3. Upon execution of this Second Amendment, the Parties agree to retroactively renew the
Agreement for a one-year period commencing on September 14, 2025, and ending on
September 13,2026.
4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain the same.

Effective July I, 2024, pursuant to § 787.06(13), Florida Statutes, when a contract is executed, renewed,or extended between a
nongovernmcntni entity and a governmental entity, the nongovernnnentul entity must provide the governmental entity with an
affidavit signed by an officer or a representative of the nongovernmental entity under penally of perjury attesting that the
nongovernmental entity does not use coercion for labor or services. .
Effective January I,2024,a governmental entity may not accept a bid on,a proposal for,or a reply to,or enter into,a contract with
an entity which would grant the entity access to an individual's personal Identifying information unless the entity provides the
government with an affidavit signed by an officer or representative under penalty of perjury attesting that the entity does not meet
