Resolution 2025-187 RESOLUTION NO.25-1 8 7
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 129.06(2),FLORIDA STATUTES,
TO AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 2024-25 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06(2),Florida Statutes,provides that the Board of County Commissioners(hereinafter also referred to as"Board")at
any time within a fiscal year may amend a budget for that year,and provides the procedures therefore;and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments which provide for but
are not limited to: revenue from grants,donations or contributions,or insurance proceeds for a designated purpose;and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments where increased
receipts for enterprise or proprietary funds received for a particular purpose may be appropriated and expended for that purpose.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments where reserve for
future construction and improvements are appropriated for the purposes for which the reserve was made;and
WHEREAS,the Board has determined that it is appropriate to amend the Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 by resolution pursuant to Section
129.06,Florida Statutes.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that
the budget amendments to the FY 2024-25 Budget described below are approved and hereby adopted and the FY 2024-25 Budget is so amended

Opioid Abatement Grant Settlement Fund to address the opioid epidemic,to support the
County's strategic objection of promoting access to health,wellness,
and human services to benefit Collier County residents.
1852 25-727(9/9/25-16D2) $2,382.76 $2,382.76 To recognize and utilize funds received from the Florida Opioid
Opioid Subdiv Grant Settlement Fund to address the opioid epidemic,to support the
County's strategic objection of promoting access to health,wellness,
and human services to benefit Collier County residents.
1835 25-728(9/9/25-16D4) $390,422.05 $390,422.05 To recognize interest earned from October 1,2024,through March 31,
Housing Grant Fund 2025,on advanced funding received from the U.S.Department of
Treasury to support the County's strategic plan by providing access to
health,wellness,and human services in Collier County.
4053 25-734(9/9/25-16F2) $72,916.66 $72,916.66 To recognize and utilize Coordinated Opioid Recovery Network
EMS Grant (CORE)funds received to address the opioid epidemic and support
Collier County's strategic objective of advancing access to health,
wellness,and human services.
1833 25-735(9/9/25-16F4) $105,806.00 $105,806.00 To recognize funds needed from the Florida Division of Emergency
Public Safety Grant (FDEM)to enhance emergency preparedness capabilities within
Collier County.
4053 25-736(9/9/25-16F5) $380,147.38 $380,147.38 To recognize funds from the American Rescue Plan Act,State and
EMS Grant Local Fiscal Recovery Funds(SLFRF)for the purchase of an
Emergency Medical Service(EMS)vehicle to provide a high level of
service in public health and medical response.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to spread this Resolution in full among the minutes of this meeting.for
permanent rec,ord in his office.
This Resolution adopted this 23rd day of September 2025,after motion,second and majority vote.
