Good afternoon Katie,
Please note that a party objecting to the subject petition arrived at our facility at approximately 2:00 P.M. on the date of
the hearing, after the item had already been heard and the meeting adjourned. It was determined at that time that the
Public Hearing signs posted at the subject property contained an inaccurate start time for the meeting; rather than 1:00
P.M., both stated 2:00 P.M. Staff contacted you to report the issue, and Mr. Dickman agreed to accept the party’s
objection(s) via e-mailed correspondence. The party was notified of the resolution, and earlier today, staff received said
written correspondence from the applicant by means of two e-mails that have since been combined into the single
attached PDF file. Staff will be providing the attached correspondence to the Clerk of Courts to maintain the integrity of
the meeting’s record. Staff herewith provides you with the subject letter of objection and requests that it be provided to
Mr. Dickman for his consideration. Thank you kindly…

Sent from my phone: I attempted to attend the 8/14/25 meeting scheduled for 2 pm per 2 signs on the 6745 Harwich CT
property in Naples 34104.
I addressed my concerns to Me. Bellows and was asked to email my concerns to your department.
CONCERNS: 1) The rules have been established to maintain the integrity of the preserve. 2) Help with flood control.
3) Protect wildlife.
4) Asthetics.
I live @ 1549 Kenridge Place and have homes on my right and left with enlarged pools and cages that infringe on the
preserve. They affect the management of storm water; result in the destruction of the environment; affect the habitat for the
animals; are unsightly to look at and affect the ability to keep debris and invasive vines out of the area.
I object to the variance for the reasons mentioned and question whether the work to be done will have to be performed on the
reserve land further causing damage. Pictures available.
