This change order will add 90 days to the project extending the substantial completion date to
8/26/2025 due to weather days and additional scope of work.
2.) If this Change Order is currently under a Stop Work, please identify the date issued and number of
days remaining or "N/A" if not applicable.

3.) Explain why this change was not included in the original contract/Work Order.
At the start of the construction commencement phase the project encountered multiple bad weather
delays due to unusual flooding conditions and tropical weather systems that substantially hindered the
construction progress with excessive flooding. There is also an unforeseen adjustment to the project
scope relating to the antenna tower that requires modifications to the structural foundation and an
amendment to the SDP permit to support the installation of a taller communication tower. This request
is in support of direct consultation with the county communications director and the EMS station Chief.
4.) Describe the impact if this change is not processed.
If the change order time extension is not granted prior to the expiration of the substantial completion
date the project will be in violation of the contract duration.
