Executive Summary
Recommendation to approve a Budget Amendment in the I-75 and Collier Boulevard (951) Innovation Zone Fund (1031)
reallocating Reserve Funding for the First Amendment to the Contribution Agreement with Uline Corporation c/o City
Gate Naples LLC (Uline) in the amount of $557,874.90.
OBJECTIVE: To reimburse Uline for landscaping, conduits, and shade structure constructed for the County.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved the First Amendment to the Contribution
Agreement (6-14-2022 Item 16. C.3), providing that the County would reimburse Uline its actual costs of up to
$575,000 for landscaping, conduit, and shade structures built upon land dedicated to the County. Uline submitted a
reimbursement request on April 2, 2025, for the actual sum of $557,874.90. The sum is comprised as follows:
• Invoice for $526,251.90 (for landscaping, grade and fill, conduit)
• Invoice for $31,623.00 (for shade structure increase)
This item is consistent with the Collier County strategic plan objective to encourage diverse economic opportunities by
fostering a business-friendly environment.
FISCAL IMPACT: A Budget Amendment is required in the amount of $557,874.90 for Fund (1031) I-75 and 951
Innovation Zone to pay the Uline invoice.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Consistent with Objective 3 of the Economic Element of the Collier County
Growth Management Plan.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the Country Attorney and is approved as to form and
legality and requires a majority vote for approval. -JAK
