A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING EXHIBIT "A" TO
RESOLUTION NO. 2013-239, THE LIST OF SPEED LIMITS ON COUNTY-
MAINTAINED ROADS, TO REFLECT SPEED LIMIT CHANGES ON
JOSEPH LANE, ANDREA LANE, MARBELLA LAKES DRIVE, AND
PORTIONS OF DESOTO BLVD,COLLIER BLVD,VETERANS MEMORIAL
BLVD, IMMOKALEE ROAD, AND OIL WELL ROAD,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute, Chapter 316, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-25,
as amended, and Resolution No. 2013-239, the Board of County Commissioners ("Board") has the
authority to establish and alter speed limits by a resolution filed with the Clerk to the Board that
creates a single comprehensive codification of all speed limits on county-maintained roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that there is a continuing need to enact and change speed limits
throughout the County in accordance with changing needs and circumstances, in conformity with
criteria promulgated by the State Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS,it is the purpose of this Resolution to amend Exhibit"A"to Resolution No.2013-
239, as amended, to reflect a change of the speed limit at the locations described herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA as follows:
1. The Board of County Commissioners hereby restates and reauthorizes all prior-
approved speed limits on Collier County-maintained roads, which have been compiled and attached
as Exhibit"A".
2. Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 2013-239, as amended and attached hereto, is
specifically amended to reflect these changes of the speed limits:
A. Reduce the existing speed limit on Joseph Lane from US 41 to Islamorada Lane, from
30 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour; and
B. Reduce the existing speed limit on Andrea Lane from Joseph Lane to its end, from 30
miles per hour to 25 miles per hour; and
C. Increase the existing speed limit on Marbella Lakes Dr, from 30 miles per hour to 35
miles per hour; and
D. Revise the speed limit on Desoto Blvd. from 56th Ave. NE, to 62'd Ave. NE, from 45
miles per hour to 30 miles per hour; and

E. Reduce the existing speed limit on Collier Blvd from Davis Blvd. to Business Cir S,
from 50 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour; and
F. Increase the existing speed limit on Veterans Memorial Blvd. from Livingston Road
to Aubrey Rodgers High School, from 25 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour; and
G. In that County project 66066.12 (11 Bridge Replacements East of SR29) construction
is complete, and the temporary construction speed limit can go back to the originally
posted speed. Portions completed and removed from the list are in bold:

made by resolution with an amendment to Exhibit "A."
4. The effective date of the speed limits shall be after written notification to the Sheriff's
Office and posting of appropriate signage.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second. and majority vote favoring same
