""� .r:d,, aren't replaced in kind, this pipe in its current condition, will not be adequate and cause water to backup, thereby creating a ' potential flooding situation. r Jo Scope of work The proposed project entails the removal of a forty-eight inch (48")corrugated metal pipe(CMP)that runs approximately sixty feet(60') crossing under 23r1 St SW.The replacement will involve the installation of a six-foot(6')high by four-foot wide(4')box culverts that will run one hundred sixteen-feet(116')long.Two (2)type A grates will be installed in the culverts along with headwalls and wing walls(see plans for specific details) on both the East and West sides of the canal along 23`d St SW. An additional thirty-feet (30') of aluminum handrail and riprap forty-feet (40') from the face of the box culvert on both sides. There will be a road closure and an alternate route during construction. Upon completion of all work,the licensed surveyor shall replace any damaged or missing property pins and/or monuments. Utility protection/conflicts(as necessary)—The contractor is responsible for coordination and protection of all in-ground and above-ground utilities(house services),including,but not limited to FPL,Century Link, Comcast, Xfinity, and Collier County. The Contractor is responsible to coordinate and schedule any possible deflections with the appropriate utility owner. Demolition - Contractor to remove existing (CMP) and end cap. Please refer to the plans for quantities and sizes. Standard clearing and grubbing will be performed within the limits of construction. This includes, but is not limited to, trees, shrubs, concrete, brick paver sidewalks, flag poles, retaining walls, etc.The contractor shall be responsible for the restoration of all disturbed or damaged areas within and outside the limits of construction caused by their work. Restoration — The restoration of all disturbed areas to their original condition is the contractor's responsibility following construction,encompassing tasks such as sod replacement,tree replacement,and restoration of faux piles, among others. The contractor is also accountable for milling, resurfacing, and replacing any asphalt or pavement that may have been disturbed or removed during the pipe replacement or installation phase. Survey-The Contractor shall provide a final construction marked-up drawing showing all the associated storm drainage improvements. A licensed surveyor shall obtain the as-built invert and final grade elevations and structure locations for inclusion on the marked-up drawing. The Contractor shall perform all work necessary to complete the excavation, removal & replacement of the pipe and structures, final grading, and full restoration of the project area. The work is comprised of furnishing all equipment, labor, material, plant,tools,and superintendence to perform all work incidental to complete the job.
