A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF A PORTION OF CITY GATE BLVD NORTH FROM
NOVEMBER 22,2024 TO JANUARY 4,2025,AND DETERMINING THAT
THE CLOSURE IS NECESSARY FOR THE MAGIC OF LIGHTS EVENT
IN AFFILIATION WITH SPORTS FACILITIES AND THE PARADISE
COAST SPORTS COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, Sports Facilities and the Paradise Coast Sports Complex are hosting the
Magic of Lights event from November 22, 2024 — January 4, 2025 and seek to temporary close
traffic on a portion of City Gate Boulevard North(the Event Map is attached hereto as Exhibit"A"
and by reference incorporated herein); and
WHEREAS,the Magic of Lights event requires the temporary closure of a portion of City
Gate Boulevard North from 6:00pm-9:OOpm Monday—Thursday, and 6:00pm-10:00pm Friday—
Sunday,November 22, 2024 through January 4, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY FLORIDA,that:

1. The Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the Magic of Lights event from r° m
