Executive Summary
Recommendation to approve modifications to the 2025 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan which consists of two new
classifications, two reclassifications, and removal of one obsolete classification from October 1, 2024, through December
31, 2024.
OBJECTIVE: To maintain a current and flexible pay plan that best meets the needs of the County.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized the
County Manager to make additions, modifications, and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan,
subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times during the fiscal year.
The modifications to the County’s 2025 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan for the first quarter consists of two new
classifications, two reclassifications, and the removal of one obsolete classification.
FISCAL IMPACT: The actions that have a fiscal impact to the County in salary adjustments have been accounted for
in each division’s fiscal year 2025 budget.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote for approval. -
