should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is uploaded to the
agenda. Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a
certain time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines!

RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 21 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CATHERINE MYERS
AND REAPPOINTING GARY HAINS AND AROL BUNTZMAN TO THE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 91-
65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was repealed and
replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, and further amended by Ordinance No. 20-27, which recreated and
reestablished the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This
Advisory Committee consists of one elected official and ten citizen members appointed by the Board of
County Commissioners based on the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS,there are three vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with their recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that CATHERINE MYERS, in the category of Banker, GARY
HAINS, in the category of Labor Engaged in Home Building, and AROL BUNTZMAN, in the category
of Non-Profit Builder are each hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, to
three-year terms expiring on October 1,2027.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 12`' day of November, 2024.
