Participating jurisdictions may benefit from this optional partnership, established for the administration of the HUD CDBG program, in that they receive grant funds for use in their jurisdiction and the County provides the required administrative and compliance functions on their behalf. The Urban County Cooperation Agreements were executed by the City of Naples and the City of Marco Island and approved by the Board on July 9, 2024, Agenda Item 16.D.3. On July 24, 2024 staff submitted the executed agreements to HUD for Urban County re-qualification.
