EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to accept a grant donation from the Eileen and Cono Fusco Fund through the Fidelity
Charitable Grant Program in the amount of $100, for general support of the Collier County Library. (Public
Services Grant Fund 1839)
OBJECTIVE: To accept a non-restricted grant donation to benefit the patrons of the Collier County Public Library
in line with the County's Strategic Plan Quality of Place initiative.
CONSIDERATIONS: On April 17, 2024, the Eileen and Cono Fusco Fund contributed $100 towards the general
support of the Collier County Public Library through the Fidelity Charitable Grant Program. The donor letter states
the purpose of the grant is for membership; however, the donor states this is non-restricted donation, so it can be
used for any purpose, such as, general support.
The Fidelity Charitable Grant program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting philanthropy,
building endowments, and other charitable funds, and connecting community resources. The funds will be used to
enhance the quality of library services and programs for residents and visitors of the Collier County Public Library
System.
FISCAL IMPACT: A Budget Amendment is required to appropriate the donations in the amount of $100 within
the Public Services Grant Fund (1839) Project 33609. There is no requirement for a County match.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and required the majority
vote for Board Approval. -CJS
RECOMMENDATION: To accept a grant donation from the Eileen and Cono Fusco Fund through the Fidelity
Charitable Grant Program in the amount of $100, for the general support of the Collier County Library.
