1. Meeting Called to order at 4:00 PM by Robert Craig, Chairman

5. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes from February 12, 2024:
➢ A motion to approve the minutes was made by Robert Craig. The motion was secouded by Larry
Holloway. The minutes were then unanimously approved by the Committee.
6. Fire Reports:
• Chief Nolan Sapp retired in March.
• Interim Fire Chief, Chris Wolfe reviewed the Fire Chief Reports.
7. Old Business: None
8. New Business:

• 4m Jenson led a discussion regarding flooding issues in the Everglades, in particular Jane Scenic
Drive and Picayune Strand. Dan Truckey added that the Army Core of Engineers have ceased in
addressing these issues and the next step would be to contact Congress.
• It was unanimously agreed by the Committee that all future meetings will now be held at 3:00 pm,
