WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 99-177, established the Educational Facilities Authority for Collier County pursuant to Sections 243.18 through 243.40, inclusive, Florida Statutes (Higher Educational Facilities Authorities Law); and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 99-177 provides that the Authority shall be composed of five members; and WHEREAS, there is one vacancy on the Authority; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Collier County Educational Facilities Authority has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for reappointment.
