RESOLUTION 82 - 31
A POLICY ESTABLISHING RCAI)VE:RTISING RE-
;' QUTAFMF:NTS IN CASTS OF CONTINUED PUDLIC
HEARINGS
Whereas , certain actions taken by the Dorrd of County •
Commissioners and certain petitions require that a public
hearing be held by the Hoard of County Comminnionern ; and
Whereas, due to various circumstances , some petitions
or actions by the Poard may be requested to bo continued either
by the Board or the petitioner ; and
Whereas , in nomn cases , the time period between the date
of the original hearing and the continued hearing may be over
an extended time; and

Whereas , in order that the citizens of Collier County are
ke;t informed of the dates of various petitions or Actions to
be taken by the Board , a policy should be established for readvor-
tieing of certain pet : t lung and action: to be taken by the Board;
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT Rr"OLvrr BY THE. SOAR() or COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS of Collier County, Florida :
A. Any petition or action by the Board requiring an advertised
public hearing shall he readvcrtised if the cont .nunnce is longer •
than five (5 ) weeks
B. The responsibility of payment for the additional coat of
advertising shall be determined by the Board at the time of con-
' tinuance .
Commissioner Wenzel offered tho foregoing
Resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Commissioner
Piator and upon roll call the vote was: •
AYES: Commissioners Wenzel, Pictor, Kruse, Drown and Wimer
NAYS: None •
ABSENT AND NOT VOTING: None
ABSTENTION: None
