We have met previously along with Valerie Nowottnick to discuss the additional development in our community. There are many issues, the main one being Lennar who took over for The Ronto Group is no longer planning on expanding the existing amenities center and will only be adding the new for the townhomes. I have attached the minutes from a prior BCC meeting where it was stated that Ronto was going to do this. I know the issue of the traffic light and construction traffic was addressed last night, I would like to speak to that as well. I would like to request a phone call or meeting with you to discuss what remedy the homeowners have to ensure the developer is holding up their commitments. My number is 239-777-3187 Kind regards, Natalie Kissel 1 Cristina Tiberia From:Scott Moore <scott.moore519@gmail.com> Sent:Tuesday, January 23, 2024 11:54 AM To:Bill McDaniel Subject:Regarding The Townhomes in The Groves at Orange Blossom EXTERNAL EMAIL: This email is from an external source. Confirm this is a trusted sender and use extreme caution when opening attachments or clicking links. Hello Bill, I was told the townhomes being built along OilWell Road are to be purchased by a single corporation and turned into rental units. Can you confirm this is true, and if so how are they able to do this legally? This effectively turns them into apartments which is not what we agreed to allow them to build when we as homeowners stopped fighting the planned construction. It's bad enough they were building multi-unit buildings next to our gated community but this is not what we were told they would be and agreed to allow to be built. As our representative in these matters, we hope you will step in and stop this purchase. The original intent was to provide home ownership in this area to those who could not afford a larger house. This will totally negate that goal. Your immediate attention to this is appreciated.
