Committee met on this date at 8:30 A.M. at 3299 Tamiami Trail East, Building F, 3rd Floor, Board
of County Commission Chambers, Naples, Florida, with the following Members Present:

1. Call to Order & Pledge of Allegiance
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
The Vice Chair, James W. DeLony, led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Roll Call — Liaison
Seven Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee members were present,
representing a quorum.
4. Approval of The Agenda
Agenda changes: Item 9. A. The presentation was changed. The committee members were
provided with the new presentation.
The Chairman motioned to approve the agenda, and Patricia Sherry seconded the motion.

Meeting Minutes -- June 29, 2023
The minutes were distributed to all present, and the minutes were approved.

I . Intent to terminate Local Option Infrastructure One -cent Sales Surtax — Mr. Lepore and Mr.
DeLony requested that the community be notified via public notice that the Surtax sunset and
that the collection of funds ends at midnight of December 315t

D. Financial Report as of August 30, 2023 — Budget Analyst III Maggie Lopez
To date, there have been validated $388,651,487 46. The figures are as of August. As of
August, the County collected with interest $464,327,971. The estimated collection for
the remaining months is $46,313,900. It is estimated to collect $90 million in
surplus funding only for Collier County.
E. Forensic Evidence Building Project Update- Claudia Roncoroni, Project Manager 11,
presented the committee members with a project update.
F. New Chiller Plant Building K Underground Chilled Water Mains J 1 /J2 Jail Generator
and Platform Project Update- Facilities Director John McCormick presented the
committee members with a project update.

7. New Business
To validate the following changes to previously validated projects for Main Campus Upgrades:
additional expenditures in the amount of $6,150,000.00 for the construction of the New Chiller
Plant Building K project (#50214); additional expenditures in the amount of $2,500,000 for the
construction of the Jail Generator and Platform project (#50184); and the reduction in scope of
work for the Underground Chilled Water Piping Mains project (450189).
The Chairman motioned to approve the validation of the funds for the Main Campus Upgrades,
and the Vice Chair seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Mr. DeLony requested a list of the campus's critical infrastructure needs that have not been
addressed. Mr. Lepore supported Mr. DeLony's request for a list of items that need to be
