In addition to the excess funds, we returned $1,028,311.02 in interest earned during FY2023 to the Board. The return of these funds continues to demonstrate the administration of the Sheriff's Office in a fiscally responsible manner through agency-wide participation in cost control efforts. Operating within budget constraints continues to be a challenge to both local governments and law enforcement.
