OBJECTIVE: To have the Board of County Commissioners, as Ex-Officio Governing Board of the Collier County Water -Sewer District, approve final acceptance of the potable water and sewer facilities, in accordance with the Collier County Utility Standards and Procedures, Ordinance No. 2004-31. CONSIDERATIONS: 1) The Developer of Kalea Bay Clubhouse - Wellness & Tiki has constructed the potable water and sewer facilities within dedicated easements to serve this private development (see attached location map). 2) A final inspection to discover defects in materials and workmanship was conducted by staff on June 20, 2023, in coordination with Public Utilities, and these facilities have been found to be satisfactory and acceptable. 3) Staff recommends final acceptance of the subject potable water and sewer utility facilities. The subject potable water and sewer facilities are privately -owned and maintained by the developer. 4) This final acceptance is in accordance with Collier County, Ordinance No. 2004-31, as amended. 5) Staff is unaware of any issues that would serve to negate the recommendation to release the project. FISCAL IMPACT: Utility review and inspection fees were paid under the original applications, Site Development Plan Amendment (SDPA) PL20200001873 in the amount of $350.88, and Site Development Plan Insubstantial (SDPI) PL20220002612 in the amount of $747.60, deposited in Planning Fund (1014). GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this action.
