SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT#18-7424
FOR
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT, made and entered into on this 2 1'4day of Ju iy
2023,by and between US Ecology Tampa,Inc.(the"Contractor")and Collier County,a political
subdivision of the State of Florida, (the "County"), collectively the"Parties":
WHEREAS, on May 28, 2019 (Agenda Item 16.C.2), the County entered into an
Agreement with Contractor for the collection, identification, packaging, shipping, transportation,
and proper disposal of all hazardous materials from Collier County Hazardous Materials
Collection Center and select recycling drop-off centers, and obtain hazardous waste collection
services throughout the County,as needed,during emergency response incidents, including severe
weather events; and
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into First Amendment to the Agreement on July 31,
2020 to add line item #150 to Exhibit B-Fee schedule to include 1.5 Cubic Yard Bags @
$65.00/each increasing the annual contract value by $14,000; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to further amend the Agreement to update the fee
schedule prices as consideration for exercising the final renewal term from May 28, 2023 through
May 27, 2024.
NOW,THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein
contained, it is agreed by the parties as follows:
1. The above recitals are hereby incorporated into this Second Amendment as if fully set forth
herein.
2. Exhibit B, Fee Schedule, is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the attached Exhibit B-1,
Fee Schedule.
3. The Agreement is renewed for the period from May 28, 2023 through May 27, 2024.
4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain the same.
