EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve final acceptance of the sewer utility facilities for Collier County Resource
Recovery Park - Phase A, PL20230004556.
OBJECTIVE: To have the Board of County Commissioners, as Ex-Officio Governing Board of the Collier
County Water -Sewer District, approve the final acceptance of the potable water and sewer facilities, in accordance
with the Collier County Utility Standards and Procedures, Ordinance No. 2004-31.
CONSIDERATIONS:
1) The Developer of Collier County Resource Recovery Park - Phase A has constructed the sewer facilities
within dedicated easements to serve this private development (see attached location map).
2) A final inspection to discover defects in materials and workmanship was conducted by staff on March 28,
2023, in coordination with Public Utilities, and these facilities have been found to be satisfactory and
acceptable.
3) Staff recommends final acceptance of the subject sewer utility facilities. The subject sewer facilities are owned
and maintained by the developer.
4) This final acceptance is in accordance with Collier County, Ordinance No. 2004-31, as amended.
5) Staff is unaware of any issues that would serve to negate the recommendation to release the project.
FISCAL IMPACT: Review and inspection fees were paid under the original application, SDP PL20140002416,
and deposited in Planning Fund (131).
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and requires a majority vote
for Board approval. -DDP

information for a faster and more efficient process. Please email your request to
UtilityPlanninqCab-colliercountyfl.gov.
Please maintain on deviation per form and select the appropriate type(s) of deviation
(Wastewater, Water, IQ Water, or Grease Trap). Provide the associated land use application
number assigned by the Growth Management Department. Ensure to select whether the deviation
is on a privately owner or county owner system. Include a drawing that has the area(s) of interest
highlighted for quick referencing.
Please include any and all equipment specification information, pressures and velocities of flows,
or other pertinent documentation and a cover letter to give additional information that may not be
addressed on the form.
For Grease Trap Deviations, please include a cover letter giving any relevant information
regarding the kitchen and its use, a copy of the menu of what is to be cooked and served, and a
floor plan of the kitchen and seating area.
Typically, Utility Deviation requests are processed within 5-10 business days. You will be notified
by email of the outcome of your deviation request. If the deviation is rejected, a meeting may be
requested with the appropriate Director and staff to discuss.
