A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING HANNAH ROBERTS,
ANDREW TERHUNE, AND THOMAS FELKE TO THE AFFORDABLE
HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 91-
65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee;and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was repealed and
replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, and further amended by Ordinance No. 20-27, which recreated and
reestablished the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This
Advisory Committee consists of one elected official and ten citizen members appointed by the Board of
County Commissioners based on the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS,there are three vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties;and
WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that HANNAH ROBERTS (Employers within jurisdiction,
420.9076(2)j.) and ANDREW TERHUNE(Employers within jurisdiction,420.9076(2)j.)are each hereby
appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, to three-year terms expiring on October 1,
2026; and that THOMAS FELKE (Advocate for low-income persons, 420.9076(2)d.), is hereby
appointed to fill the remainder of a vacant term expiring on October 1,2024.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 13th day of June,2023.
