A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING CHARLES M. KELLY,
JR.,NANCY KOEPER,AND ROBERT TALFORD TO THE VANDERBILT
WATERWAY MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on December 11, 2018,the Board of County Commissioners(Board)adopted
Ordinance No. 2018-64, which established the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal Service Taxing
Unit (MSTU) to provide dredging services for Vanderbilt Waterway; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2018-64 also created the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal
Service Taxing Unit Advisory Committee (Committee) to assist the Board in carrying out the
MSTU in accordance with the Ordinance, and structured the Committee to have five members,
who generally represent the area within the MSTU; and
WHEREAS, there are three vacant seats on the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously provided public notice soliciting applications from
interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has provided the Board with its recommendation for
reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that CHARLES M. KELLY, JR.,
NANCY KOEPER, and ROBERT TALFORD, as residents of the MSTU, are each hereby
reappointed to the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal Service Taxing Unit Advisory Committee to
serve four-year terms expiring on February 12, 2027.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on this the 28th day of February, 2023.
