Resolution 2022-145E (Extending the State of Local Emergency to November 7, 2022) RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -_
PROCLAMATION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY EXTENDING THE STATE OF LOCAL
EMERGENCY FOR ALL TERRITORY WITHIN THE LEGAL
BOUNDARIES OF COLLIER COUNTY INCLUDING ALL
INCORPORATED AND UNINCORPORATED AREAS.
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2022 in Special Session, the Collier County Board of
County Commissioners issued Proclamation/Resolution No. 2022-145, which declared a State of
Local Emergency due to the threat of Hurricane Ian; and
WHEREAS, the State of Local Emergency was extended by Resolution Nos. 2022-
145A, 2022-145B, 2022-145C, and 2022-145D, and is scheduled to expire on October 30, 2022;
and
WHEREAS, Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage in Collier County to public
utilities, public buildings, public communication systems, public streets and roads, public
drainage systems, commercial and residential buildings and areas.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Proclamation/Resolution No.
2022-145, Declaration of a State of Local Emergency, is hereby extended an additional 7 days to
November 6, 2022, effective as of October 30, 2022, for all territory in the incorporated and
unincorporated areas of Collier County.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED this aday of October, 2022.
