Community Foundation of Collier County is bringing
financial resources to our local NGO's and immediate
needs for the most vulnerable. Giving local is getting local
needs addressed!
We have not been inundated with well -intended but
disastrous unsolicited goods. Cash is king for all recovery
efforts.
Our NGO's are working together with the FEMA Disaster
Recovery Centers to bring local and state supplemental
programs to those in need.
We are still asking the State for an escalation in staffing to
support a Disaster Assistance Center -Case Workers and
have been advised as other shelters close around the
State- Staff will be sent to Collier.
