EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Collier County
Landscape Maintenance Agreement (“Agreement”) between Collier County and Frank J.
Dewane, as Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, a corporation sole and his succes sors in the
office, for proposed irrigation and associated existing landscape improvements within the
Seagate Drive public right-of-way.

OBJECTIVE: To permit irrigation and associated existing landscape improvements within the County
right-of-way and ensuring that Frank J. Dewane, as Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, a corporation sole
and his successors in the office, will maintain improvements accordingly.
CONSIDERATIONS: Collier County was approached by Frank J. Dewane, as Bishop of the Diocese of
Venice, a corporation sole and his successors in the office to install irrigation and maintain the system and
associated existing landscape improvements within the Seagate Drive public right-of-way. Pursuant to the
attached Landscape Maintenance Agreement, Frank J. Dewane, as Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, a
corporation sole and his successors in the office agrees to maintain improvements along Seagate Drive, as
depicted in Schedule “A” and in accordance with the specifications in Schedule “B”. Rights to terminate
the Agreement are spelled out in the attached Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no cost to Collier County associated with this proposal. Frank J. Dewane, as
Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, a corporation sole and his successors in the office are responsible for all
recording fees.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote
for approval. -DDP
RECOMMENDATION: To approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Landscape
Maintenance Agreement between Collier County and Frank J. Dewane, as Bishop of the Diocese o f
Venice, a corporation sole and his successors in the office, for irrigation improvements and associated
existing landscape improvements within the Seagate Drive public right-of-way.
