RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 1 18 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,REAPPOINTING SCOTT LEPORE AND RECLASSIFYING JAMES DELONY AS MEMBERS OF THE COLLIER COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE SURTAX CITIZEN OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, on April 24, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board)adopted Ordinance No. 2018-21, which established the Collier County Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee (Committee) as an ad hoc advisory and reporting body to the Board to provide citizen review of the expenditure of the Surtax proceeds against the ballot referendum approved by the voters and the Ordinance; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2018-21, as amended, provides for membership to be composed of seven regular members(including one member from each of the five Commission Districts and two at-large members)and two alternate members;and WHEREAS,the two at-large member seats expired on January 14,2022; and WHEREAS, the Board has provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS,the Board wishes to appoint the following members to the Committee. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that SCOTT LEPORE (at-large) hereby reappointed to the Collier County Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee, to serve a two-year term expiring on January 12, 2024, and further, that JAMES DELONY, currently an Alternate member, is hereby reclassified as a regular At-Large member,to serve a two-year term expiring on January 12,2024; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Committee is hereby directed to provide a recommendation at its next meeting regarding the vacant alternate seat resulting from the reclassification of James Delony.
