2022 Hurricane Season Forecast-NOAA

including 3 to 5 major hurricanes (category 3, 4 or 5; with winds
of 111 mph or higher).
NOAA provides these ranges with a 70% confidence. An average

Response and Recovery!
Local State of Emergency:
Consider an earlier implementation of a Local State of Emergency with or without evacuations so as to aid in mobilization-that may takes longer for COVID-19 concerns if applicable.
Ensure County employees have ample time to address family concerns and prepare for emergency assignments and provide for shelter set-up! Close and coordinated conversations occur with the Collier County Public Schools.
We will need at least 12-14 hours to set-up Palmetto Ridge High School with County Staff and a minimum of 6 hours to set-up a general population shelter if Covid protocols are implemented.
