Call to Order & Pledge of Allegiance Chairman Magel called the meeting to order at 8:34 and led the pledge of allegiance. 3. Roll Call – Committee Members Six members of the Productivity Committee were physically present representing an in-person quorum. 4. Adoption of Agenda The agenda was distributed to all present and approved. 5. Adoption of minutes from Previous Meeting The minutes were adopted as drafted with no changes. 6. Staff Report There was no staff report. 7. New Business Barry William made a presentation to the committee regarding the operations of the Parks and Recreation Division. Mr. Williams briefly discussed the organization of the division and distribution of responsibilities. He shared with the committee how the division is utilizing the Enterprise Asset Management system to track the condition of park assets within the parks. The Committee asked several questions regarding how the 32.A.2 Packet Pg. 482 Attachment: Agenda and Backup Documents - February 3, 2022 (21537 : Productivity Committee - February 3, 2022) division utilizes this information to make decisions and plan for repairs and replacements. Mr. Williams shared that the top priority is health and safety. He also indicated that budget and time factor into how the division determines the repair or replacement of damaged or deteriorated assets. Parks and Recreation engages in routine inspections note items that need or will require attention. The Committee was also informed that the Collier311 system is utilized by residents to report issues directly. The Committee asked how the Parks and Recreation division makes decisions regarding park updating or replacing park amenities (i.e., grass/turf fields and dog parks). 8. Old Business (None) 9.
