EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a Resolution and Satisfaction of Lien for the 1996 Solid Waste
Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments, where the county has received payment in
full satisfaction of the lien. Fiscal impact is $28.50 to record the Satisfaction of Lien. (Mandatory
Collections Fund 473)
OBJECTIVE: Approve Satisfaction of Lien for the 1996 (account number 24581) Solid Waste
Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the county has received payment in full
satisfaction of the lien.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 2000-237, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, placed a lien
on certain residential properties for the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, provides that Satisfaction of Liens shall be approved
by Resolution. The attached Resolution lists one account (account number: 24581) that has paid in full
satisfaction of the lien for the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
FISCAL IMPACT: Payments on the subject lien were received December 2021. The fiscal impact for
recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolution is $28.50. Funds are available in the Mandatory
Trash Collections Fund (473).
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated with this
item.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality and requires a majority vote
for Board action. - JAB
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution and one
Satisfaction of Lien for the 1996 (account number: 24851) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution.
