Although the County is not utilizing the easement, staff would have no idea whether or not there are any
non -County facilities located within the platted easement (cable, FL&L, telephone lines, etc.) The process is for
anyone wishing to vacate a utility easement is to file an application to vacate, which would include letters of no
objection from all of the potential utilities.

and litigation in Collier County for almost 30 years, I would suggest that your attorney should contact the
County Attorney's office directly to discuss what the County can and cannot do to resolve your title defect, if
that is what your attorney is stating. Since you have threatened litigation, I am also compelled to forward this
email and all of your prior emails to the County Attorney as well. A discussion between your counsel and the
County Attorney's office could clarify the issues and avoid your spending money on litigation that will not
accomplish what your goal is, i.e. to build a swimming pool.

I was contacted by our lender today that they are going to begin cancelling our pool loan as we were not able to begin
the project.
I will be contacting the Pool builder and let them know that we will not be building the pool.
I have contacted my Attorney at Glantz Law regarding this issue and he advised that he must file an action as he has
neverseen
An abandoned 70 year old easement not removed from a parcel unless the County was using the Easements as a means
to generate
Illicit Gains. He also advised that I should have the drainage Easement removed as well as that is also degrading the
property.
I have attached what he found on county records.

Dear Mr. Solis,
I have been selected to bring an important matter to your attention. I, as well as most of my neighbors have a 70 year
old 10 foot abandon Utility Easement located in the rear of all of our properties in Gulf Harbor. I found out when
applying for a pool permit.
I contacted Marc Berman at the Collier County Surveyors office and he instructed me to file a vacate of easement for
$2,700.00. 1 also contacted the Land Records Department and they have no recorded Easement showing who owns the
Easement, it's purpose or anything regarding this.
I then contacted my Attorney and he stated that since the community was platted in 1955 it was probably never
recorded and therefore does not exist although it shows on the plat (attached). Now instead of simply removing the
easement the County Surveyor wants each individual property owner to pay 2,700.00 to have this removed. My
Attorney suggested I contact you as you will probably find this ludicrous and maybe illegal as the easement should have
been removed years ago as it was never used. And to force an entire community to pay thousands of dollars to remove a
10 foot 70 year old easement is simply un-acceptable.

County Attorney's office directly to discuss what the County can and cannot do to resolve your title defect, if

email and all of your prior emails to the County Attorney as well. A discussion between your counsel and the
County Attorney's office could clarify the issues and avoid your spending money on litigation that will not

I was contacted by our lender today that they are going to begin cancelling our pool loan as we were not able to begin
the project.
I will be contacting the Pool builder and let them know that we will not be building the pool.
I have contacted my Attorney at Glantz Law regarding this issue and he advised that he must file an action as he has

An abandoned 70 year old easement not removed from a parcel unless the County was using the Easements as a means
to generate
Illicit Gains. He also advised that I should have the drainage Easement removed as well as that is also degrading the
property.
I have attached what he found on county records.

I have been selected to bring an important matter to your attention. I, as well as most of my neighbors have a 70 year
old 10 foot abandon Utility Easement located in the rear of all of our properties in Gulf Harbor. I found out when
applying for a pool permit.
I contacted Marc Berman at the Collier County Surveyors office and he instructed me to file a vacate of easement for
$2,700.00. 1 also contacted the Land Records Department and they have no recorded Easement showing who owns the
Easement, it's purpose or anything regarding this.
I then contacted my Attorney and he stated that since the community was platted in 1955 it was probably never
recorded and therefore does not exist although it shows on the plat (attached). Now instead of simply removing the
easement the County Surveyor wants each individual property owner to pay 2,700.00 to have this removed. My
Attorney suggested I contact you as you will probably find this ludicrous and maybe illegal as the easement should have
been removed years ago as it was never used. And to force an entire community to pay thousands of dollars to remove a
10 foot 70 year old easement is simply un-acceptable.

Although the County is not utilizing the easement, staff would have no idea whether or not there are any
non -County facilities located within the platted easement (cable, FL&L, telephone lines, etc.) The process is for
anyone wishing to vacate a utility easement is to file an application to vacate, which would include letters of no
objection from all of the potential utilities.

I was contacted by our lender today that they are going to begin cancelling our pool loan as we were not able to begin
the project.
I will be contacting the Pool builder and let them know that we will not be building the pool.
I have contacted my Attorney at Glantz Law regarding this issue and he advised that he must file an action as he has
neverseen
An abandoned 70 year old easement not removed from a parcel unless the County was using the Easements as a means
to generate
Illicit Gains. He also advised that I should have the drainage Easement removed as well as that is also degrading the
property.
I have attached what he found on county records.

litigation in Collier County for almost 30 years, I would suggest that your attorney should contact the County Attorney's
office directly to discuss what the County can and cannot do to resolve your title defect, if that is what your attorney is

the County Attorney as well. A discussion between your counsel and the County Attorney's office could clarify the issues
and avoid your spending money on litigation that will not accomplish what your goal is, i.e. to build a swimming pool.

Dear Mr. Solis,
I have been selected to bring an important matter to your attention. I, as well as most of my neighbors
have a 70 year old 10 foot abandon Utility Easement located in the rear of all of our properties in
Gulf Harbor. I found out when applying for a pool permit.
I contacted Marc Berman at the Collier County Surveyors office and he instructed me to file a vacate
of easement for $2,700.00. I also contacted the Land Records Department and they have no recorded
Easement showing who owns the Easement, it's purpose or anything regarding this.
I then contacted my Attorney and he stated that since the community was platted in 1955 it was
probably never recorded and therefore does not exist although it shows on the plat (attached). Now
instead of simply removing the easement the County Surveyor wants each individual property owner
to pay 2,700.00 to have this removed. My Attorney suggested I contact you as you will probably find
this ludicrous and maybe illegal as the easement should have been removed years ago as it was never
used. And to force an entire community to pay thousands of dollars to remove a 10 foot 70 year old
easement is simply un-acceptable.

9/24/2019, the Rural Golden Gate Estates Vision Statement is: The Rural Golden Gate
Estates is an interconnected, low -density residential community with limited goods and
services in neighborhood centers, defined by rural character with appreciation for nature
and quiet surroundings. The requested rezoning and conditional use request before you, in
my opinion, does not align with this vision statement.
While the Planning and Zoning staff have referenced that a large part of the recommendation
to allow this is that 8th St NE became a collector road when the bridge was built, this was not
the intention or understanding of building bridges in Golden Gate Estates. The intention as
previously discussed was life safety and reducing response time for EMS/Fire. For the bridges
and classification as a collector road to be utilized in such a manner to support rezoning
reasoning, which goes against the approved Golden Gate Area Master Plan from only two
years ago, is guileful.
With 25 years of experience in not for profit and community service organization leadership, I
am empathetic to the requesting organization and respect the role of worship in our
communities. However, purchasing residential lots and pursuing rezoning is not a valid
alternative, financial or otherwise, to purchasing lots in district areas already approved and
planned for this conditional use. Referring to the Golden Gate Area Master Plan (GGMP),
neighborhood centers are planned and located around the community along major roadways.
"The centers are designed to concentrate all new commercial zoning, and conditional uses, as
allowed in the Estates Zoning District, in locations where traffic impacts can be readily
accommodated and to avoid strip and disorganized patterns of commercial and conditional
use development." (GGMP)
The definite fact is, the rezoning request referenced and on the 12/14/2021 BCC agenda as
items &A and 9.13, is outside of the specified districts allowing for the requested conditional
use per currently approved Golden Gate Area Master Plan and Rural Golden Gate Estates Sub -
Elements. Previous conditional use request for church in Rural Golden Gate Estates has been
denied. Thank you for remaining consistent and true to the GGMP. Please continue your
public service efforts to maintain the stated goals, objectives, policies, and vision statement of
the Rural Golden Gate Estates.

Good evening Commissioners, my name is Eric Biddle and I am a resident of Collier County of 21 years currently living in
Golden Gate Estates. I have lived on 8th St. NE for the past 3 years. It has recently come to my attention that there is
potentially going to be a church built on the corner of 22nd Ave NE and 8th St NE. Let me be clear, I have no objection to
places of worship. I do however have concerns with placing one on the corner of a residential neighborhood which has
already seen a large increase in traffic since the 8th St. expansion 2 years ago. The volume of vehicles that already travel
our street daily is quite impressive. With that volume comes speeders, increased number of motor vehicle accidents,
and quite frankly increases the odds of potential danger to pedestrians. Our street is unique as we are the only street in
the Estates with a sidewalk, which we take great pride in. Families walk, ride bikes, socialize, and utilize the walkway
daily. Adding a church would certainly cause an increase in commuters, exacerbating what is already a heavily trafficked
neighborhood. This raises a number of concerns regarding safety, commuting time, and my next item: our privacy.
I am writing to you formally objecting the construction of the church. Not only due to traffic concerns, but also due to
the destruction of our beloved wooded home. The residents of the Estates move here for quiet and the peaceful
esthetics. With an already increasing number of homes on 8th St. NE, the clearing of another lot for a church and its
parking lot would be a terrible eye sore.
Again, I ask you please consider denying the construction of a commercial structure on my residential neighborhood
street. I feel it is completely inappropriate to place a church or any other place of business / commerce on the
residential streets of Golden Gate Estates.

I attended a neighborhood information meeting at the current location of Iglesia Pentecostes Penel Church
tonight at 6:00 PM
It was located at 13260 Immokalee Rd Suite 7 ( Shopping plaza where L Appetito Pizza is located next to BP
gas station) in Golden Gate Estates.
Meeting over by 7:00 pm- got home at 7:30 PM. The placed was packed even had to set up extra chairs.
We were told 60 people are current members and that the new church would have 250 seats built on two lots.
Attached pre -plans of church - will -if reading correctly be 5.15 Acres Zoned residential.
It got a bit heated as the pastor of the church stated that a church is good for a community, to this there was no
disagreement.
The disagreement is that it will open the door for more commercial building within the Estates and not on just
the fringe.
More congested traffic on a road already congested especially to those living 1000 feet from it.
Other Comments : moved to the Estates to get away from city noise and traffic congesting.
A church does not belong in a residential area, if it did there would be no need to rezone.
One lady said her church was approved and built in a residential area they built a wall around it, but still
constantly get complaints from the residents.
The meeting was adjourned by the speaker - as it was really going no where.
Those that wanted to build the church saw it a great idea. They just could not "hear" or understand that those
that live near it do not want the traffic Congestion
or opening the door to commercial building within the Estates.
What I got from the meeting is the church really needs more space, but the residents that live in the area
and nearby- myself included, do not approve of where they want to build it.
We do not want a church being built in a Residential area, it opens up other rezoning for projects that
otherwise would not be approved..
I am one of many that disapprove of the area chosen for this church project - it should be on a main road, not
on a residential road.
Please listen to your constituents and honor their wishes over development in Residential area that requires
rezoning - honor the original growth management laws set to protect the
environment, wildlife and Human habitat.

church on 8th St Ne., and a few other opinions.
First, this is a residential area and changing this to a conditional use designation would set a
precedent for the rest of the rural estates. I'm not anti religion, far from it. My issue is there
should be NO exemptions/ deviations/changes to the Estates Masterplan. If you start granting
changes this would set a precedent, and possibly I could get a deviation for a small store or a
weekend neighborhood bar. Just kidding.
On a side note, in my opinion, allowing communities and towns out here was a mistake. The
people that buy in these communities have a different mindset than people that want rural
living. I prefer not to hear someone's toilet flushing next door. Most of us out here traded a
drive to buy our groceries, etc. for our preferred peace and quiet.
Secondly, I'm concerned that because of a bridge that was put on 8th a few years ago that 8th
St's designation would change to a collector road. If so, were the residents made aware that
their street designation would be changing? I don't recall anyone ever talking about the roads
changing designation when they're widen. I think people should be informed of full
repercussions of this, if this will effect their properties standing. I live on 16th St. and we've
always had traffic issues because of 18th Ave's bridge to Everglades. So between that, the
new bridge on 16th, and Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension 16th St. will a bigger disaster than
8th St. Will this make 16th St. an arterial road?
Also, Commissioner McDaniel had stated in a Night with the Commissioner meeting that
building the 8th St. bridge was a mistake, or some such language. Approving this church
would increase the traffic in the area of Randall and 8th, this is a nightmare already, with
many accidents, why add to this?
Finally, I respectfully ask that you not approve this request for Conditional Use for
the IGLESIA PENECOSTES PENIEL CHURCH.

requesting to be built 'within' our boundaries of Golden Gate Estates. We have a Growth
Management Plan in place and it supersedes this church's amendment request. It could also
set a precedence for further activity on residential lots here in the Estates if passed. Our peace
and tranquility this area has to offer is in your hands and I kindly ask you for follow the plan.

Furthermore, I would ask that you consider the additional traffic this would entail at 8th St and
GGB. I already have issues with trying to access GGB from 8th St SE. During high traffic
times, I can hardly make a left turn (heading west on GGB from 8th St SE) due to the
following issue.
1. More people are turning left on 8th St SE as a through street which effectively blocks 8th St
SE homeowner's trying to exit west on GGB.
You have created a pickle for us on 8th St SE, trying to "hit the gap" on a 4 line roadway with
speeds in excessive of 50 Mph is dangerous. Furthermore, the bridge (between 8th St SE and
10 St SE) creates a "blind" where we don't see the speeding cars coming over the bridge until
its almost too late.

I write this letter regarding the matter involving the building of
Iglesia Pentecostes Peniel Church at the residential corner of
22nd Ave. NE and 8th St NE in Naples Florida. Being of the
Catholic faith and in favor of the right for ALL to practice the
faith they wish, I believe the construction and use of a church
in a residential area will create an unsafe environment for all
the residents located in Golden Gate Estates. Therefore, I
express my disapproval for moving forward with the
construction.
Being a recent homeowner on 22nd Avenue what attracted me
to this location was the single-family home, residential nature
of the location, in a quiet neighborhood situated away from
major intersections located in Naples. The proposed location
for this church will not allow for proper traffic flow when
inclement weather and/or accidents around the location occur.
Additionally, the proposed corner and adjacent locations serve
as pick-up and drop-off points for children that travel to/from
school, families that enjoy outdoor activities such as walking,
jogging, bicycling and walking the family dog.
While I realize Randall Boulevard will soon be a major roadway
containing commercial buildings along Randall and 8th St, NE,
finding another location for the church along Randall or
Immokalee Road containing ample intersection access is
appropriate. The residential interior of the rural estates in
Golden Gate Estates is not the right fit for this church to be
constructed. The Golden Gate Master Plan was recently
revised in 2019 and designates major intersections for non-
residential zoning, and the proposed lot where this church is to
be constructed is not one of them.
Religious buildings sometimes are not ideal neighbors,
especially in residential districts. Consider a few recent
examples: In New York City, the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian
Church has been housing a number of homeless persons every
night, in close proximity to private residences; residents'
alleged use of the church violates local zoning laws. In Castle
Hills, Texas, the Castle Hills Baptist Church has sought a
special use permit to add a parking lot and a fourth story to a
church building. The city denied the permit, but the church is
fighting the decision in court. Meanwhile, in Abington,
Pennsylvania, a Jewish congregation has purchased 10 acres
of land in a residential neighborhood for use not only as a
worship center but also as a wedding and bar mitzvah facility;
the land had previously been used as a convent and then a
monastery. The Township is challenging the proposed new
uses.
These conflicts are interesting because they track the
changing nature of the way religious buildings and land are
used in our country. There was a time when such buildings
were solely "houses of worship," as many local codes still
identify them. In other words, congregants met one day each
week for religious services, making them ideal residential
neighbors. But times have changed. As the Fifth Avenue
Presbyterian Church dispute shows so well, these buildings are
now being used far more intensively and frequently than they
were when they were solely houses of worship. Now they are
also being employed as homeless shelters, soup kitchens,
senior or child day care centers, or schools. These new uses
generate a slew of negative secondary effects: traffic, noise,
sanitation issues - that neighbors find burdensome, and
rationally so. It is one thing to buy one's family home next door
to a house of worship, and quite a different matter to buy one
next door to a homeless shelter. When one transforms into the
other, it is reasonable for neighbors to be concerned. This
church has a growing congregation and as described, it will
already outgrow the size of the church before it's built.

Church has been housing a number of homeless persons every
night, in close proximity to private residences; residents'
alleged use of the church violates local zoning laws. In Castle
Hills, Texas, the Castle Hills Baptist Church has sought a
special use permit to add a parking lot and a fourth story to a
church building. The city denied the permit, but the church is
fighting the decision in court. Meanwhile, in Abington,
Pennsylvania, a Jewish congregation has purchased 10 acres
of land in a residential neighborhood for use not only as a
worship center but also as a wedding and bar mitzvah facility;
the land had previously been used as a convent and then a
monastery. The Township is challenging the proposed new
uses.
These conflicts are interesting because they track the
changing nature of the way religious buildings and land are
used in our country. There was a time when such buildings
were solely "houses of worship," as many local codes still
identify them. In other words, congregants met one day each
week for religious services, making them ideal residential
neighbors. But times have changed. As the Fifth Avenue
Presbyterian Church dispute shows so well, these buildings are
now being used far more intensively and frequently than they
were when they were solely houses of worship. Now they are
also being employed as homeless shelters, soup kitchens,
senior or child day care centers, or schools. These new uses
generate a slew of negative secondary effects: traffic, noise,
sanitation issues - that neighbors find burdensome, and
rationally so. It is one thing to buy one's family home next door
to a house of worship, and quite a different matter to buy one
next door to a homeless shelter. When one transforms into the
other, it is reasonable for neighbors to be concerned. This
church has a growing congregation and as described, it will
already outgrow the size of the church before it's built.

went into identifying the appropriate locations for these Neighborhood Center Subdistricts.
The Subelement states at B.I.A.2. that the Neighborhood Centers are located along major
roadways and are distributed within Rural Golden Gate Estates according to commercial
demand estimates. (See Rural Golden Gate Estates Neighborhood Centers Map). The centers
are designed to concentrate all new commercial zoning, and conditional uses, as allowed in
the Estates Zoning District, in locations where traffic impacts can be readily accommodated
and to avoid strip and disorganized patterns of commercial and conditional use development.
Approval of this Application at the subject site, a solely residential area, would initiate, create
and promote disorganized patterns of development, contrary to the intent, goals, objectives
and policies of the Subelement.
Furthermore, the Subelement provides that Conditional Uses may also be permitted on lots
adjacent to the Neighborhood Center Subdistricts, i.e., as a transitional conditional use. Under

Dear Commissioner,
I am the Pastor of "Iglesia Pentecostes Peniel" church and am writing in regards to the subject planning and zoning
applications. Iglesia Pentecostes Peniel is a Christ -centered community church that thrives in sharing the word of God,
serving the community, and expanding God's kingdom. We have a longstanding congregation in North Naples that has
been serving the community for many years. We also have a newer congregation in Golden Gate Estates which has been
renting and operating from a commercial location for several years. For the honor and glory of Christ, the Golden Gate
branch membership has outgrown its facility. Consequently, we decided that it was time to build our own congregation
facility with ample space to comfortably worship and serve the community without negatively impacting the existing
dynamics or harmony of the area. We quickly became aware that the permitting would be a very complex and expensive
process, however we really didn't expect opposition given the benevolent nature of our works and the integral part of
residential communities that churches have historically served.
I would like to correct some misinformation propagated in the news, social media, and communications pertaining to the
Neighborhood Information Meeting schedule and the project details. Additionally, I would like to provide some insight
related to the concerns that I am hearing or reading primarily related to traffic, location, and "setting a zoning precedent"
that would pave the way for allowing gasoline stations among other uses.
We are seeking Conditional Use and Growth Management Plan Amendment approval in residential zoning since it is
historically compatible within this zoning and since commercial property is cost prohibitive for a small congregation which
is self -supported. Collier County has dozens of churches located within residential zoning with conditional uses located
throughout, hence this project would not set a precedent since there are already many throughout the county that have
been constructed under the same circumstances. Our congregation is a small non-profit organization that simply does not
have the funds, financial support, or credit to purchase a commercial location and spend millions of dollars. As custodians
of God's money, we are looking to do things as financially sound as possible within what the Lord has blessed our
congregation. Without this zoning accommodation the existing Growth Management Plan limits us from owning our own
temple in the Golden Gate Estates area. We have not found any churches in Golden Gate Estates that have been
constructed on commercial property whereby the total cost was less than $1 million dollars. More importantly, we're not
looking to build a huge multimillion -dollar church which would represent a traffic impact. We are simply looking to build a
small community church which only meets twice a week for a few hours. We should not be compared to lucrative
organizations which operate every day and can pose concerns for residents in terms of noise, traffic, and crime.
Although few people have voiced concerns about potential noise, we would like to provide some peace of mind by sharing
details about our current operations. Currently, the congregation meets regularly at the rented commercial location at
13260 Immokalee Rd., Suite 7 in Naples. This congregation location shares common walls with multiple businesses and
abuts the residential lots on 24th Ave NE. Throughout all the years that we have rented at this location, we have not
received any complaints or noise ordinance violations. The same can be expected at our proposed facility at the corner of
22nd Ave NE and 8TH ST NE. We are not in the business of upsetting or impacting our community. We strive to be
respectful, peaceful, integral, and honorable members of the community.
One of the most controversial topics appears to be related to traffic concerns. I'm convinced that people opposing the
construction of our temple are not aware of the county's project to build an overpass with multiple lanes on the corner of
Randall Blvd and Immokalee Rd which will improve traffic flow immensely.
A few years ago the County constructed the 8th St NE bridge which joined Randall Blvd. with Golden Gate Blvd to
facilitate traffic and emergency services response time. The same traffic concerns were voiced by the community at the
time when this bridge was proposed. However, this bridge has been a benefit to the community just as the proposed
church will be a benefit. You can now exit North or South bound from 22nd Ave NE. Additionally, the county has plans to
intersect 8th ST NE via Vanderbilt Beach Road. I'm confident that all the upcoming growth plans will mitigate potential
traffic concerns which may be posed by uninformed members of the community. Our congregation will only meet twice a
week (Wednesday and Sunday) for a few hours resulting in negligible traffic impact during non -peak hours.
Finally, I would like to correct the following misinformation that has been disseminated via multiple news and social media
sources about our project:
1. We're not building a three (3) story church.
2. The project DOES include a sound barrier.
3. The congregation is small with only 108 parking spaces (including a buffer for growth).
4. The plans demonstrated on NBC2 were outdated plans.
5. The correct Date and Time for the Neighborhood Information Meeting is Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at 6PM Iglesia
Pentecostes Peniel Church 13260 Immokalee Road, Suite 7 Napes, FL 34120.
In conclusion, this project is not being promoted by a commercial entity. It is a non-profit congregation which will offer a
free and public place to worship, practice your faith, and share life with other community members. This is similar to
Collier County providing recreational facilities in residential zoning which are necessary to promote health, happiness, and
personal growth. Churches fill the need for spiritual, emotional, and moral development. We need churches in order to
develop quality and principled law-abiding citizens with a high moral value which have a heart for God and his good
works. There is absolutely no better place for this development than at your local community church. History speaks for
itself. We hope that this correspondence touches your heart and mind in support of our project so that we can continue
serving the community together.

Commissioner Solis,
I am writing to ask that you do not approve the request to build a church on
the five acres on the corner of 8th St NE and 22 Ave NE. based on traffic
congestion. Our roads are overburdened in this area south of Randall Blvd.
making what should be a short trip to Publix or CVS a nightmare. The streets
that intersect with Randall are often backed up five to ten cars while the
east/west traffic on Randall does not let up. Out of frustration, drivers are
pulling out without adequate clearance, endangering themselves and other
drivers.
Might I suggest that before you vote on this proposal, you drive up 8th Street
NE and try to turn left onto Randall Blvd, preferably in the morning or
afternoon. The traffic is not just bad, it is ridiculous and dangerous, and this is
what we who live out here deal with every day. Adding more traffic by
approving this area for a church is irresponsible. Surely, there must be other
more suitable places that can accommodate such additional traffic without
endangering the residents who live so close by.

My family and I just wanted to chime in on this. Everyone I speak to is for the Church to be
approved. Someone is illegally putting flyers into our mailboxes on this? trying to stop this
expansion. Please wish they would come forward it is a federal offense... We all welcome this
addition to our neighborhood. My neighbors, myself and kids are looking forward to attend. If
someone does not want to attend its their choice. We ask you to approve the church. Some of
us are unable to get off work to attend. This church will be on my street and we are so looking
forward to see this happy. We have lived here for 18 years waiting for more and more growth
and expansion like this church. Please keep all of us in mind and approve the church and any
other growth in the area.

We are Son Truong, Kimcuc Nguyen and Nguyen Truong at 570 22nd Ave NE, Naples FL 34120.
We are asking you to vote AGAINST the approval to build the above church at the intersection of
22nd Ave and 8th St NE for the following reasons:
1. 22nd Ave is a very narrow street and can't afford for more traffic and parking. Currently, we
are having hard time driving on this narrow street.
2. The church would have one entrance on our street and it is a small and dead end street.
Children have been using the corner to park their bikes and waiting for buses to school. The
building of this church would interfere with the small space for kids to wait for the school
buses.
3. 1 am sure the church will be growing and its crowded congregation would create additional
head -ache for residents on the 22nd Ave NE. and 8th St NE streets.
4. Based upon the 2019 revised plan, this lot was not identified or intended to be converted into
non-residential zoning.
Again, we are voters and we would like to bring to your attention and asking you to vote NO on the
re -zoning. We hope that we can continue to support you in the next election and many more to

I have been a resident of the 8th St area for 15 years. We moved here to 22nd Ave Ne and
now live on 1 Oth Ave Ne, both off of 8th St. I ask that you please vote no for the rezoning of
this residential piece of land. This area is residential and it should remain residential, many
people live and/or moved here for the sole reason that it's a residential area away from
anything else "in town". If you approve of this then it will create expectations of rezoning
residential areas & take away from what GGE truly is. Their church owns more lots in GGE so
I'm sure their intentions would be to continue rezoning. There is plenty of vacant lots with the
appropriate zoning available for them to build a church on. Please vote no.
