OBJECTIVE: To request approval from the Board of County Commissioners to accept the FY 2022 grant application under the E911 State Grant Program. CONSIDERATION: The Florida E911 State Grant Program is to assist counties with the replacement or upgrade of Enhanced 911 (E911) systems; for counties to develop and maintain statewide 911 routing using Emergency Services Internet Protocol (IP) networks (ESInet), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and services, and Management Information Systems (MIS); and develop and maintain Next Generation 911 (NG911) systems and services. FISCAL IMPACT: The Florida E911 State Grant application requested the following funding: State funding: $376,472 for the 9-1-1 Consoles Replacement Project. GROWTH MANAGEMENT: None LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK RECOMMENDATION: To request approval from the Board of County Commissioners to accept the grant application under the Florida E911 State Program.
