Check, during start-up test mode, for exhaust leaks, cooling air flow, movement during starting and stopping, excessive vibration during running, line-to-line voltage,line-to-neutral voltage, and phase rotation. Page 12 of 13 Exhibit A—Scope of Services CAO hA ITB#21-7886 "Purchase of 53 Portable 3-Phase Generators" E. Test automatic start-up and automatic shutdown, initiated via remote contact closure from automatic transfer switch. F. Test safety interlocks under NFPA 110 criteria. G. After installation inspection and fine adjustments have been completed, a field test run of four consecutive hours shall be performed with the engine-generator loaded at 100 percent using a balanced, three-phase, dry- type, resistive load bank. Record complete test data for frequency, amperes, volts, power factor, exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery charger level. H. Perform transient response test by applying rated load in a single step and then removing rated load in a single step. Output voltage and frequency shall be observed using a recording oscilloscope. Voltage and frequency dip, voltage and frequency overshoot, and recovery time to steady state after rated load application and rejection shall be recorded to verify conformance with the specified performance requirements. I. Perform functional test demonstrating the generator's ability to start and run site loads in the same sequence listed in the Generator Load Step Table, using the supplied mating connector. J. Upon completion of startup and after acceptance by the OWNER, the OWNER shall fill the fuel tank to capacity. 3.3 PERSONNEL TRAINING A. For the first delivery of each engine generator size furnished, provide on-site operation and maintenance training for all equipment included in this section. Training session shall be videotaped, and a copy of the recording shall be furnished to the OWNER. Features and benefits Wastegated turbocharger Air-to-air aftercooled — Wastegated turbochargers are designed to develop more air flow at — This is the most efficient method of cooling intake air to help reduce lower engine speeds to improve low speed torque. The wastegate engine emissions while maintaining low-speed torque, transient control device bleeds off a portion of the exhaust flow at higher response time, and peak torque. It enables an engine to meet engine speeds.Wastegated turbos deliver improved transient emissions regulations with better fuel economy and the lowest response and higher peak torque without compromising engine installed costs. envelope size. They also provide the lowest installed cost across a given power range. Compact size — Lower installed cost Cooled exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) — Mounting points are the same as previous engine models — EGR cools and mixes measured amounts of cooled exhaust gas with incoming fresh air to lower peak combustion temperatures, thereby John Deere electronic engine controls reducing NOx. — Faster engine control unit(ECU)manages both the engine and the Diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) exhaust filter — PowerTech PWL 4.5L engines for Final Tier 4/Stage IV produce — Four times the memory, twice the RAM and double the near-zero levels of particulate matter(PM)without a filter thanks to processing speed an optimized combustion system and engine calibration.Remaining — The input/output capability has increased 40% PM and other hydrocarbons are oxidized passively in a flow-through _ Premium software option integrates with equipment or vehicles to DOC without the need for regeneration. reduce engineering and installation costs Selective catalytic reduction(SCR) Additional features — John Deere engines feature an SCR system that utilizes a urea-based _ Glow plugs additive, sometimes referred to as diesel exhaust fluid(DEF).The ammonia in the urea mixes with engine exhaust gases in the SCR — Gear-driven auxiliary drive catalyst to reduce NOx—converting it to nitrogen and water vapor. — 500 hour oil change High-pressure common-rail(HPCR)and engine control unit — Self adjusting poly-vee fan drive (ECU) — Optional factory installed variable speed fan drive improves — The HPCR fuel system provides variable common-rail pressure, fuel economy and reduces noise levels multiple injections, and higher injection pressures up to 2,500 — RH and LH engine mounted fuel filters bar(36,000 psi).It also controls fuel injection timing and provides — Replaceable(wet)cylinder liners precise control for the start, duration, and end of injection. — Low pressure fuel system with electrical transfer pump and 4-valve cylinder head "auto prime"feature — The 4-valve cylinder head provides excellent airflow resulting in greater low-speed torque and better transient response time by utilizing a cross-flow design and a U-flow design. The high-pressure air is then routed John Deere electronic engine controls through a charge air cooler and into the engine's intake manifold. — Enables low idle speed for reduced fuel consumption By splitting the work between two turbochargers, both can operate at peak efficiency and at slower rotating speeds—lowering — Enables switching between 1500 and 1800 RPM without stress on turbocharger components and improving reliability. reprogramming Series turbocharging delivers more boost pressure than single — Single engine control unit(ECU)manages both the engine and turbocharger configurations which results in higher power density, the aftertreatment systems improved low-speed torque, and improved high altitude operation. — Premium software option integrates with equipment Cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) Additional features — EGR cools and mixes measured amounts of cooled exhaust gas — Low idle speeds with incoming fresh air to lower peak combustion temperatures, thereby reducing NOx. — Dual frequency 1500/1800 rpm — Glow plugs High-pressure common-rail (HPCR) and engine control Unit(ECU) — 500-hour oil change — Self-adjusting poly-vee fan drive — The HPCR fuel system provides variable common-rail pressure, multiple injections, and higher injection pressures up to 2,500 — Optional factory installed variable speed fan drive improves fuel bar(36,000 psi).It also controls fuel injection timing and provides economy and reduces noise levels precise control for the start, duration, and end of injection. — RH and LH engine mounted fuel filters — Replaceable(wet)cylinder liners — Low pressure fuel system with electrical transfer pump and "auto prime"feature John Deere Power Systems John Deere Power Systems All values at rated speed and power with standard options unless otherwise noted. 3801 W.Ridgeway Ave. Usine de Saran Specifications and design subject to change without notice.
