Dear Commissioner Locastro:
Once again , I am making my voice heard on important issues affecting our beautiful Collier County and the lovely quality of life we enjoy here. I have been a land owner in Naples &
Collier County since 1985 and a legal resident of Florida and of Pelican Bay since 1998.
Please do NOT, I repeat do NOT, vote to approve the One Naples project. I have read many articles and letters against it as well as Brian Stock's PR & marketing for it. It really
boils down to who follows the rules and who does not. The Planning Commission does NOT support this project as it violates MANY of the codes...codes which were established for the
well being and quality of Collier County. This is one of the main reasons this area is consistently ranked at the top destination in surveys. It is what separates us from our neighbors
on the East Coast.
I am sure Brian Stock is a nice person and his company has been developing here for some time. That has nothing to do with approving this project. It is way too dense for the area
it is proposed for. Last weekend I had company who drove down Vanderbilt Rd from The Pavillion shopping center to enter Pelican Bay. When they finally arrived they spoke about the
backed up traffic on Vanderbilt Road and how long it took them to make their turn. This is already a heavily traveled road which is always problematic in season with high traffic
volume. Parking for the Vanderbilt Beach is very limited and difficult to access at this time. There are SO MANY reasons to veto this project. And Stock's influence & profit is
the only one positive factor in the equation. Wrong Project in the Wrong Area !!!
Follow the thousands of voices of your constituents , follow the advice of your Planning Commission and follow the history of quality requirements for our community. Vote NO, NO, NO
for this project.
